Co-Living Spaces

Bansko is an innovative hub for co-living. During this year’s festival, there are a number of pop-up coliving experiences happening in addition to the places that operate year-round.    

1. CoLiving Bansko
This space emerged from the iconic Coworking Bansko space that was a key part of bringing nomads to Bansko. In addition to Coworking Bansko, they now offer a full coliving experience. It has a vibrant shared living space & garden designed for digital nomads. It offers private rooms with shared kitchens, fast Wi-Fi, and access to coworking spaces. It’s the perfect place to connect, collaborate, and enjoy the nomad lifestyle during your stay for the Festival. During the event, Coliving Bansko will host the Underground party and some community dinners. For attendees there’s a special 15% discount - Use the code: BNFCOLIVING

The monthly pass is valid for any 30 day stay that includes the festival week in the time. After booking, we will pass your accommodation voucher and email to Coliving Bansko so that they can confirm your arrival & departure dates with Coliving Bansko directly.

2. Bansko Nomad Wonderland Main Stage (SOLD OUT)

3. Valentina Heights Coliving (SOLD OUT)

4. Four Leaf Clover (SOLD OUT)
‍A local Bansko favourite. Four leaf clover is a cluster of apartments with a coworking and community space.  While there are some daily & weekly options here, it’s most known as an affordable monthly & long-term option with on-site coworking space and a feeling that you’re living with your nomad family. This place books out fast, so you need to get in early if you want to stay during the festival.

For those who prefer some more independence and a quiet space to work, there are a huge selection of apartments in Bansko to suit a wide range of budgets and amenities.

This is a locally run website that offers direct rental arrangements with a curated list of apartments aimed at nomads - the site without the high commissions taken by OTA’s like Booking & AirBnB & has listings starting at 240 euro per month!

Hotels & Guesthouses

There are an abundance of hotels including small family-run hotels & guesthouses in Bansko. For those looking for weekly accommodation just for the festival there are options that start at around 140 euros per week available on the major booking sites (booking.com. Hotels.com, Agoda.com etc)

The cheapest way to get to Bansko from Sofia is to get the local bus (around 10 euros) from Sofia Central Bus station. Tickets can be purchased at the bus station. To get to the Sofia Central bus station from the Airport you can get the Metro from the Airport (Terminal 2) to the Central Railway Metro stop. The Railway and Central Bus Station are next to each other.

Private Transfers

You can also arrange a private transfer to pick you up from Sofia Airport if there are a few of you travelling together. Private transfers are around 80-100 euros per car depending on the pick up time/season.

Taxi transport around Bansko

For local taxis within Bansko download the Taxistars App. Taxi’s are also usually available at the bus station so you can arrange a ride to your accommodation on arrival at the Bansko Bus station.

There are 3 main venues where talks and events will be held during the festival.

1. Main Stage (Nikola Vaptsarov community Center)
2. Cinema Stage (Bansko Visitor Information Centre)
3. The Park (City Park)

The map shows their location in relation to each other. The Shaded circle covers the part of Bansko that is within an easy 10 minute walk of the central historical district and all of the venues. We recommend booking accommodation in this area if possible. (The links are to google map locations for each of them).
