Daniel is a German open-source developer who fell in love with Malta and founded its Digital Nomad community, playing a key role in creating the successful Nomad Residence Permit. He also established the Malta Digital Nomads Association to foster dialogue between nomads, permit holders, and government stakeholders. Now based in Gozo, Daniel is focused on growing the local remote work scene and supporting the digital nomad movement.
